How it works

The badge is a small SVG served at carbondecode.com/badge/<project-id>.svg. It shows the project's current grade and score, colored on our AAA–D scale. Because it's served live, it reflects the latest rating without you changing anything. Wrap it in a link to the project's scorecard (the snippets above do this) so readers can see the evidence behind the grade.

Don't know a project's ID? Find any project on the ratings browser — the ID is in its page URL (/project/<id>). Curious how the grade is derived? See the methodology.
